“What kind of tests..” asked Charlotte, nervously tugging on her blonde curls. She waited for the answer, not willing to ask skmething else for fear she might be causing trouble and that was the last thing she needed. If she could just slip away long enough not to be noticed she could probably go invisible and escape…But then what? She’d have no way of making her way back home, they’d driven too far for even someone with a great memory like her to remember. And what of the twins? Sure she didn’t know them well but she would not leave them behind.

"you'll find out soon enough." was all the woman responded with. "now go, the scientists will show you to your rooms you'll be staying in for the time you're here." she waved a hand at them, and the scientists entered the room again. Oliver grabbed Allison's hand and followed the scientists back out of the room, and back to the first hallway. the scientists opened one of the other doors, with the word "ROOMS" on it. inside, there was a large, circular room decorated like a living room, with couches, bean bags, a few tvs, bookshelves, tables, everything. off of the circle there were yet more hallways. the scientists led them down hallway E, to the very end. one of them directed the students each to a room for themselves alone. Oliver objected. "Excuse me, can I stay with my sister? you see, she's blind. she needs me to help her get around." one scientist peered at Allison, then shook her head. "she'll be okay. there's a bell in each room if there's an emergency. if she needs help getting somewhere she can ring the bell." the scientists left, leaving the three alone.

“This really, really, really sucks..” murmured Charlotte under her breath and looking down at her shoes. The floors were so white that the light above her head reflected on the spot she stood. “I suppose we could use the time to relax..” she said optimistically. Peering her head into one of the rooms, she cringed at the whiteness ans cleanliness of it all. White walls and white floors with white furniture, clean but sparse with only a bed and a desk.

"we've got to try to escape, right?" Oliver says, grimacing at how white the rooms were. "I think we should stay." Allison spoke for the first time since leaving the city. she stared straight ahead, seeing but not seeing at the same time. Oliver telepathically sent her a flow of images of what was around. she shook her head. "even if it's so white we can;t bare the sight, they could actually be telling the truth." she started, "they could actually do harmless tests on us that tell them where we'd fit best."

“In that case, it would be a lot better to stay here, no?” Charlotte looked at the two. “They could also be hiding things from us though, and we have no way of knowing..” she frowned, thinking over their situation. She was torn. “For now, we don’t really have a choice I suppose..Let’s just make the best of the situation and thunk a bit, if you guys need anything i’ll be in this room.” She said, walking to the room in the middle.
