Maeve thanked the waiter.

Lavender did too, eating her food.

Lavender stole glances at her every once in a while as she ate.

Maeve noticed and grinned.

Lavender realized she noticed and blushed, but didn't stop.

Maeve giggled.

"What?" Lavender raised her eyebrows, chuckling.

‘Nothing.’

"You sure?"

‘Yep.’

"Alright." Lavender chuckled, going back to eating her food.

Maeve smiled back, continuing to eat.

Lavender tried not to glance at her as much, which didn't work.
