"What, were you gonna throw me into the fire in my kitchen after we make our food~?" Ed jokingly asked, smirking playfully at James.

James chuckled. 'Nah, just for self defense~'

Ed laughed softly, nodding. "Got it," he said with a chuckle, crossing his arms over his chest.

'In case you decide to eat me or something.'

Ed gasped, a feigned look of offense on his face. "How dare you assume I would do that~" He said with a chuckle, playfully glaring at James.

James laughed. ‘I’m just saying, it’s not an impossible possibility~’

"Wooow, do you not trust me~?" Ed asked with a chuckle, crossing his arms over his chest.

'You're a vampire, I have to take precautions~' James chuckled.

"Well- that's fair," Ed said with a sigh, chuckling softly.

James shrugged. They got to the second in the line. 'What do you want?'

"Uhh, anything but pork- not a fan of pork," Ed replied with a chuckle, shrugging a little.

‘Okay, okay, good to know,’ James chuckled. They got to the front. ‘A string of four beef sausages and a few steaks, please.’

Ed chuckled softly, watching James order the meat with a small smile on his face.

The butcher made a small bag with the meat and handed it over. ‘That’s 10 coins.’
They traded goods and James walked away with Ed.
