Caleb played with Richard’s hair. ‘You sure you don’t think we’re not spending too much time together?’ he asked quietly.

Richard frowned. "Of course." He mumbled.

‘Then why’d you bring it up? Did your dad say it?’

Richard went silent.

Caleb looked at him, frowning slightly. ‘Love?’

Richard looked up, pretending he hadn't heard his question. "Yes?"

‘Can you answer my question, please?’

Richard sighed. "He might've mentioned it."

‘Does he know we’re together?’

"I don't know. If so, he's pretending he doesn't know."

Caleb nodded, sighing. He held him closer. ‘I’m sorry, love.’

"It's fine." Richard lied.
