Penny meowed loudly, managing to stick a paw out of the box and swat at Connor’s hand.

"Uh, excuse me, missy-" Connor said, chuckling softly as he pulled his hand away and out of Penny's reach.

Penny meowed and continued waving her paw around, her purring stopping. “Aw, I know honey, he’s so mean-“

"Yeah, such a bad person," Connor joked, chuckling softly. "I'm trying to drive, I'll give you pets later, okay?"

Penny meowed sadly, making Evan aw sadly and rub her head with his hand.

Connor awed sadly as well, sneaking a glance at Penny. "I'm sorry, Pen, but I'm trying to drive-"

“She’s fine,” Evan said with a chuckle, getting cut off by a loud meow.

Connor laughed softly, glancing over at Penny and watching her for a moment. "You're alright, relax-"

Evan giggled quietly, gently pushing her paw back into the box, gently scratching her head as he continued to meow.

They soon arrived back at Connor's house and he parked the car, unbuckling and getting out.

Evan also got out, carefully shutting the door after picking the box up with Penny’s head still sticking out, meowing loudly.

Connor laughed softly and watched Penny for a moment, heading to the front door and unlocking it.

Evan followed him inside, setting her down in the floor. “Can I just let her out, or where do you want her?”

"Uh, let's take her up to my room, maybe?" Connor said, moving over to the box and picking up Penny.

“Alright,” Evan said, chuckling as Penny meowed happily.
