“No, you’re not wrong,” Clay said with a chuckle as he rolled onto his side, smiling as he faced George. He wrapped an arm around his waist, kissing his lips.
-
George smiled, kissing Clay back and draping an arm over his boyfriends waist.
-
Clay held George close, deepening the kiss as he ran a hand through his dark curls. “-and I told you not to tell her because she’d get mad, and what did you do? You told her!” Sam said to the person she was talking to on the phone, walking into the garden. She stopped in her tracks, seeing Clay making out with a guy. “Uh, I’m gonna have to call you back-“ She spoke as Clay quickly sat up, hanging up on her friend. “Sam- It’s- I can explain-“
-
George blushed, quickly sitting up and scooting away from Clay. He stayed silent, hoping not to make this any worse.
-
“What’s there to explain? You’re having a f---ing picnic without me,” Sam teased, chuckling softly. Clay flushed red, rolling his eyes. “f--- off-“ “Kidding, kidding. But like, when did you two happen?” Clay glanced over at George, a small smile on his face. “A few weeks ago,” he spoke, looking back at his sister.
-
George smiled shyly, pushing the extra sandwich he had brought towards her. “Yeah, not too long.”
-
“Ooh- Thank you~” Sam said with a smile, sitting down on the blanket. “You- You won’t tell Mom about us, right?” Clay asked, a nervous look on his face. “Why would I? You know how she is,” Sam said, rolling her eyes. “I’m not telling her about my gay friends, so why would I tell her about you and-“ “George,” Clay spoke, rubbing George’s back with a small smile.
-
“Oh- yeah, I’m George, I’m the head chef,” George said, subconsciously moving closer to Clay.
-
Clay wrapped his arm around George’s waist, holding him close with a smile. “Yes, I remember you from breakfasts and dinners,” Sam replied with a giggle, nodding as she picked up her sandwich. She took a bite, humming softly. “But yeah, I won’t tell her, don’t worry~”
-
“Thank you,” George said, blowing out a breath. “You scared me to death, honestly.”
-
“Sorry, sorry~” Sam said, giggling softly. “Also, this sandwich is so good~” “I know, right?” Clay said, chuckling softly as he looked over at George. “Literal best sandwich-maker ever~” He kissed his cheek, humming softly.
-
George flushed red, looking at the ground. “I mean- I’m a professional chef, so I hope I could make a good sandwich,” he said, chuckling softly.
-
Clay chuckled softly, hugging George close. “That’s true- God, our last chef was literal dogs---, did Clay tell you?” Sam said, giggling as she took a bite of her sandwich. “Oh, I have,” Clay said, rolling his eyes. “He was literally the worst chef we’ve had.”
-
“Well, I would be a step-up no matter what, so,” George said with a giggle, leaning into Clay’s side.
-
Clay chuckled softly, kissing the side of George’s head with a smile. Sam giggled softly, watching them with a smirk. “Y’know, I’m a little surprised you like guys, Clay,”she spoke, taking a bite of her sandwich. “What’d you mean?” “You’re like, the straightest looking guy I’ve ever seen, dude-“
