"I love you, too~" Clay mumbled, his voice muffled against George's skin. He yawned softly and curled closer to his boyfriend, soon falling asleep in his arms.

George had moved to lay down with Clay, gently holding him while he slept.

Clay jolted awake and sat up in a panic, his eyes shooting open and his breathing quick. He exhaled shakily, looking over and quickly relaxing when he saw George.

“Woah! Woah- hey, breathe, hun, you’re okay,” George said, sitting up quickly with him.

Clay exhaled shakily and hugged his legs to his chest, rubbing his face with one hand. "Sorry, sorry-"

“There’s nothing to be sorry for hun,” George said softly, hesitantly moving a hand to rub Clay’s back. “You’re okay, you’re safe-“

Clay exhaled softly, leaning into George's touch and closing his eyes.

George hummed softly, continuing to gently rub Clay’s back. “You wanna talk about it, or no?”

"You- you were in m-my dream, but- but then you got taken a-away from me," Clay whispered shakily, clinging to George.

“Oh- honey, that’s not gonna happen,” George said softly, holding Clay tightly. “I’m right here, I promise-“ -

Clay smiled a little and nodded, curling closer to George. "I know, and I'm glad," he whispered softly, resting his head on his boyfriend's chest. -

“Good,” George said with a soft smile, holding Clay close. -

Clay hummed with content, hugging George close.
