Clay looked over, watching George interact with the new guy as he tried to find something to say.

“Oh! Sorry, Clay, this is James, James, this is my boyfriend, Clay,” George said with a chuckle. “No s---, you’re dating the prince?” James said teasingly, extending his hand to shake Clay’s.

"Hi, hello," Clay said a bit nervously, smiling at James. "Nice to meet you~"

“We were best friends in high school,” George explained to Clay, ignoring James’ comment. “Yeah, but I was always the smarter one-“ “Oh, shut up- says the person working for my business-“

Clay chuckled softly, nodding as he listened to George. "Well, it's nice to meet you, James," he said, smiling warmly at him.

“Nice to meet you too,” James said with a smile. “Now sit your ass down, George, I have to make it look like I’m doing my job. So, you guys decided what you want to eat?”

"I think I'm gonna go with the pulled pork- And could I get an iced tea?" Clay replied, watching James for a moment.

“Oh, crap, yeah, I was supposed to ask you that first, but yes,” James said with a nod, chuckling as he jotted down the order. “George?” “Uh, I’ll get the broccoli Alfredo chicken, and a sprite,” He said with a chuckle, sitting back down at his seat.

"You're good," Clay said, chuckling softly as he leaned back in his seat.

“Alright, those’ll be out for you two pretty quickly, considering there’s no one else here,” James said with a chuckle, backing away and waving a bit. “Thanks-“

"Thank you~" Clay replied with a smile, nodding.

“Sorry about that- I haven’t seen him in probably over five years,” George said with a chuckle.

"You're good, don't worry about it~" Clay said, smiling at George.

George smiled, offering his hand to Clay again. “God, that was crazy- he’s been overseas for so friggin’ long- I didn’t even know he worked for me-“

"Well, I'm glad you got to see him~" Clay said with a smile, taking George's hand and gently squeezing.
