"Wait, really??" Clay asked, smiling brightly. "Hell yeah, I'd love to! Do I need to dress up or anything?"

“If you wanna dress up,” George said with a shrug, smiling brightly. “But if your tux is too uncomfortable, whatever it fine. It’s about an hour drive, so.” -
"Mm, I might- But I'm definitely wearing a different, more comfortable outfit," Clay said, chuckling softly. He paused, thinking for a moment. "s---, what do I do about my mom finding out? She almost found out last time, but I got Sam to cover for me."

“Um,” George said softly, running a hand through his hair. “Maybe- like, you tell her you’re going out with some of your friends? So she suspects what you’re actually doing? But instead it’s with your handsome boyfriend~”

"Yeah, that could work- Hopefully she doesn't need me at all, though," Clay said, chuckling softly.

“Yeah, just have her give you a time to get back, and I’ll bring you back,” George shrugged. “And I could probably stay out a bit longer to avoid suspicion and all that-“

"Yeah- Yeah, okay," Clay said, smiling. "I'll text her then, tell her I'm going out," he said, pulling out his phone and sending a text to his mom.

some friends for a bit, get some food? -

His mother responded almost instantly. -
My friends Alex and Nick, I think they
wanted to go back to that restaurant we
went to with Sam? Either that or some-
where else, I dont know yet-
Clay replied, glancing down and admiring the flowers in his arms. "Seriously, these are so pretty, George- Thank you~" -
How long will you be out?
“Well, not as pretty as you, of course~” George said with a grin, moving forward a few steps and kissing Clay’s cheek. “Do you have anything you could put them in? They need some water-“ -
I dont know yet, we probably wont be
gone more than a few hours-
I dont have any school or training so i
figured itd be fine.
Clay blushed red, rolling his eyes with a chuckle. "Yeah, a vase or something would be great- Hopefully my mom doesn't question why I have a vase of flowers in my room, though," he said, chuckling softly. -

“Just- say it was for an assignment or something,” George said with a chuckle. “Do you have one, though?” -
Got it.
"Mm, not in here- We'd have to grab one from somewhere," Clay said, shaking his head. "My mom said I have to be back at 11. That should be enough time, right?" -
“Oh, plenty of time,” George said with a smile. “I could grab one from the kitchen- but maybe we should do that later. Is there a cup or something we could put them in?”
