“Ugh, yes please,” George chuckled, letting go of Clay a little.

Clay chuckled and let go of George, grabbing his hand and leading him to the couch. He sat back down, waking up his computer again and going back to his work.

George sat next to him, leaning against his shoulder. “What are you working on?”

“English assignment, reading a book for some paper,” Clay replied, moving the laptop onto his lap and leaning back against the couch. He wrapped an arm around George’s waist, holding him close. “The Great Gatsby- Great book, honestly.”

“Oh, shut up, I love that book,” George said with a soft smile, resting his head against Clay’s shoulder.

“Yeah, it’s a really good one,” Clay replied with a chuckle, nodding as he rubbed George’s side. “Did you know there’s a musical version of it? Sam told me about it a while back-“

“Yeah, it doesn’t look that bad,” George said with a shrug. “I’m honestly not the biggest fan of musicals, so-“

“That’s fair- I’m not a huge fan myself, but they’re pretty cool,” Clay said, nodding a little. He turned his attention back to the book, clicking on the read-along audio he had playing and unpausing it.

George hummed, reading it along with the audio, his mind wandering.

Clay held George close, reading along with the audio. “I thin the next book I have to read it the Glass Menagerie? I can’t remember-“ -

“Never heard of that,” George said softly, curling closer to Clay. -
(he keeps pissing in the house :’)
we try n make sure he goes outside n we’re like, tryna train him to let us know when he needs to go out,
but he f---in’ sucks at it, like, omfg T^T
also, it’s still hot as balls outside, it’s so bad :’))
“I’ve heard it’s a good book, I can’t remember what it’s about, though,” Clay replied, glancing over at George. -

“Maybe you should read it with me,” George said with a soft smile, lifting his head to meet eyes with Clay. -

Clay blushed and smiled, nodding. “I’d love to~” He said, chuckling softly. -

“Okay, pay attention to your schoolwork,” George said with a chuckle, turning Clay’s head again.
