Casimir’s face paled. ‘N-Now, that’s not the entire story-‘ He grabbed Georgie’s hands, sitting them down.

“S-So you did cheat??” Georgie spoke shakily, pulling her hands back. She scooted back a little, a nervous look on her face.

‘No! No, of course not! I would never!’ Casimir said quickly, face falling when they pulled their hands back. ‘I-I was with Indigo, then I met Rose a-and she tried to, y’know, get with me, and Indigo saw her kissing me and just assumed we were dating-‘

“But- But they said they had evidence-“

‘They were lying! My love, the Narva princesses are liars,’ Casimir said, grabbing their hands, trying to calm himself down. ‘Please don’t listen to anything they say. Did they actually show you their “evidence”?’

“N- No, but- but they- they said you w-would gaslight me, and-“

Casimir just watched them for a moment. He didn’t know how to make this better without it seeming he was gaslighting Georgie. He slowly let go of their hands. ‘L-Love, I-I know we haven’t been together long, but I-I’m not lying to you.’

Georgie exhaled, shaking their head. “No, you’re- You’re right, I should’ve just trusted you-“ He let out a shaky sigh, taking Casimir’s hands on his own shaking ones. “I- I’m sorry-“

Casimir gently kissed the back of his hands, then pulled them into a hug. He gently rubbed his back, kissing the top of his head. ‘Hey, it’s okay. I don’t blame you, okay? Th-Those girls can be very convincing. They’ve lied to me, too,’ he said softly.

“I-I’m just nervous, I guess- I don’t want to lose you…” Georgie spoke shakily, hugging onto Casimir.

‘I know. I don’t want to lose you either,’ Casimir said quietly, holding them close.

Georgie curled closer to Casimir, nuzzling his face in his neck.

Casimir blushed. He rubbed their back, kissing the top of their head. ‘I love you, okay? I swear on the throne, I’ll never cheat on you. Ever.’

Georgie smiled, lifting his head and kissing Casimir’s nose. “I do trust you. It’s just- Kind of hard to ignore those insecurities, I suppose-“

Casimir smiled, leaning into their touch. ‘I get that. But I love you, okay? So much.’
