'Yeah- Yeah, that's a good idea,' Mason mumbled, standing up.

Chris nodded, watching Mason for a moment. “Where’s all your medicine at?”

'Cabinet above the fridge,' Mason said. He walked to his bedroom and flopped onto his bed.

Chris nodded and headed into the kitchen, going and grabbing the medicine. He got a cup and filled it with water, taking the cup and medicine and bringing it to Mason in his room.

Mason rubbed his face with his hands, exhaling quietly.

Chris walked over and handed Mason the water and medicine, watching him quietly.

Mason took the medicine and drank the water. ‘Thanks,’ he mumbled.

“You’re welcome,” Chris spoke softly, nodding.

Mason gestured for him to sit next to him and laid down.

Chris stayed still for a moment before hesitantly moving to sit by Mason, his body tense.

Mason snuggled up to him.

Chris blushed and hesitantly wrapped an arm around Mason, holding him close.

Mason sighed, burying his face in his shirt. ‘Can we just forget about the whole thing for a bit?’

“I’d love to, honestly,” Chris said with a quiet chuckle, nodding as he hugged Mason closer. “I just want my best friend back…”

Mason sighed softly, snuggling close.
