"Then what's the harm in asking her out?"

“I- I don’t know,” Quinn said, sighing. “I just- I’m scared of what she’ll say, for one thing- And, like- what if us dating is a bad idea? What if- what if it gets us killed?” She whispered, her voice shaking.

"Hey, we can just do it here, remember? I'll get decorations and stuff."

Quinn exhaled, rubbing her face with her hands. “No, I mean- If our boss finds out, Naomi will most likely get killed, and then I’ll get fired and then murdered!”

"You both will anyway, if they find out you're helping to hide her." Briar paused. "That's not very comforting though."

Quinn exhaled softly, sitting down on her bed. “I- I really want to ask her out, I just- I’m scared, I don’t want anything to happen to her…”

Briar nodded. "Just test the waters maybe... Let her know that you want to ask her out, but let it be up to her. Does that makes sense?"

“Right- Yeah, that’s a good idea,” Quinn said softly, nodding. She exhaled and stood back to her feet, walking towards the door and going to Naomi’s room.

Naomi was writing something down in her journal and perked up once Quinn walked in. "Hey!"

Quinn smiled a little when she saw Naomi, running a hand through her hair. “Hey, uh- I-I wanted to ask you something, Naomi-“

Naomi nodded. "Okay, what's up?"

“I- I’m just gonna say it because I’m nervous enough as it is, and you obviously don’t have to agree to anything, it’s your own choice, but-“ Quinn paused, taking a deep breath. “Would you wanna go on a date with me, have dinner with me here?”

Naomi beamed. "Of course!" She said happily.

“R-Really? Like, you’re serious??”

"Of course I'm serious." Naomi chuckled. "Did you think I would say no?"
