“Seriously, you’re drop-dead gorgeous, darling~” Quinn said, smiling at Naomi.

"Am not!"

“Are too~” Quinn said, chuckling softly. She heard her phone buzz and she picked it up, reading the text she got and sighing before putting it back down.

Naomi took her phone and put it in her own pocket. "There. Now you don't have to worry about it."

Quinn laughed softly, watching Naomi with a small smile. “Thanks- I definitely will need that back later, though, for work stuff.”

"Nah. You really don't."

“No, I mean like- I do need it back, I have to stay in contact with people who are watching over the safe house and making sure no one finds out Briar and I are hiding you here,” Quinn spoke, a serious look on her face. “You can hold onto it for now, though.”

"Okay, okay." Naomi went serious too.

“But, for now- I need to lay down, I’m f---in’ exhausted from all this worrying,” Quinn said, chuckling softly. “Would you, uhm- would you want to, maybe, join me?” She asked nervously, her face turning red.

Naomi blushed. "Yeah, sure." She said, trying to sound non-chalant.

Quinn blushed and smiled, gently taking Naomi’s hand and leading her to her room. “I promise, I’m not usually this awkward-“ She said, pushing open the door. “I guess you just, make me a little nervous- And I- I really like you and I don’t wanna mess this up and-“

"You're not messing anything up." Naomi promised, grinning.

“Well, that’s good to hear,” Quinn said, chuckling softly. She led Naomi over to her bed and flopped down, gently pulling her down on top of her. “Mm, that’s better~” She said with a smile, holding the girl laying on top of her in her arms.

Naomi smiled, laying next to her. She put the phone on the nightstand.

“Noo, lay on top of meee-“ Quinn jokingly whined, chuckling softly.
