Naomi smiled back. "That's good." She paused, trying to think of something else to say. "What were you and Briar talking about?"

Briar blushed, running a hand through her hair as she started cooking the bacon. “Uh, nothing important, don’t worry,” she said with a small, embarrassed smile, watching Naomi for a moment.

Naomi raised her eyebrows. "Really? You're acting suspicious..." She had an obvious teasing edge to her voice, but she was curious.

“Me? Suspicious? Neeever~“ Quinn teased with a chuckle, putting the bacon into the air fryer.

"Suuuure." Naomi laughed.

Quinn chuckled, admiring Naomi for a moment with a lovesick grin. She quickly looked way, blushing. God, stop looking like a f---ing creep!

Naomi noticed the grin, smiling back.

“Y’know, now that I think about it- I have no clue what we’re gonna do with you,” Quinn admitted, chuckling awkwardly.

"Oop- so I'm just going to be trapped here forever?" Wouldn't mind being trapped if it's with you- ACK STOP IT.

“I mean, if you wanna live, kinda- I MEAN-“ Quinn groaned, her face heating up with embarrassment. “Sorry, I know that’s not a very helpful thing to say right now-“

"No, I get it. Don't be a liar just to make me feel better."

“I won’t let anything happen to you, though,” Quinn said, a small smile on her face. “You’re safe here with us, promise~”

"Thanks." Naomi smiled.

“You’re welcome,” Quinn said, smiling at Naomi for a moment before quickly looking away.

Naomi looked at her with a grin.
