“Swimming?” Finn said, trying to hide the panic in his voice. “Do- Do we have to-“ “Ooh, swimming sounds great actually,” Connor said, standing and stretching. “I need to cool down anyways, it’s so hot out today.” -

Arthur noticed, frowning and glancing at Finn. “Hey- we could play, like, volleyball or somthing? I won’t swim with you.” -

Finn looked over at Aurthur, smiling. “Yeah, that- that sounds good~” He said with a nod, running a hand through his hair. “But, you- you can swim if you want, I don’t want you to miss out just because of me.” -

“I’ll have plenty of opportunities to swim, I’ll be fine,” Arthur said dismissively with a shrug, standing with the rest of the group. -

Finn chuckled and nodded, standing. He paused for a moment, remembering he dropped his hoodie earlier. He looked around for a moment and saw it on the floor, picking it up and hugging it to his chest. “I wish I had a better swim suit to wear, then I’d actually want to swim,” he said softly, sighing as he grabbed Aurthur’s hand and followed others. -

“What kind of swimsuit do you have now?” Arthur asked, squeezing his hand. -
“I only have like, more girl bathing suits,” Finn said quietly, exhaling softly. “I mean, I have a pair of trunks, but I- I don’t have a binder or anything I can wear to flatten my chest that’s like, waterproof-“ He exhaled, leaning against his side. “I tried wearing my binder while swimming, but it definitely wasn’t comfortable- Made it kind of hard to breathe.”

“Mm, gotcha,” Arthur said with a nod. “If you got like, a swim shirt, could that work?”

“Yeah, probably,” Finn replied, nodding. “I’d still probably have to wear like, a sports bra under it, though- Which isn’t ideal, but whatever.”

“Yeah, fair,” Arthur said with a nod, kicking a rock on the path.

Finn looked over, seeing their cabin coming up in front of them. He walked in and sat down on his bed, not bothering changing. “I’ll be back in a few minutes, I’m gonna change real quick,” Connor said, poking his head into the cabin.

“Alright,” Elliot, MJ and Arthur all said, nodding. Arthur headed into the bathroom to change.

Finn hugged his legs to his chest, exhaling softly. He stared at the floor, resting his chin on his knees.

Arthur came back after a moment, in his swim trunks and random soccer shirt from his school. “I’m so beating you in volleyball-“

Finn glanced up, watching Aurthur silently for a moment with envy. “Yeah, right,” he said with a quiet, awkward chuckle, letting go of his legs and letting his feet touch the floor.
