Finn chuckled awkwardly, nodding for a moment. God, there’s something wrong with me, isn’t there? He exhaled softly, leaning into Aurthur’s side. They soon arrived at the medic cabin, taking Elliot inside. “I uhm, I think I’m gonna sit out here,” Finn said quietly, letting go of Aurthur’s hand. “You can go in if you want, you don’t have to stay with me.”

“Why aren’t you gonna come inside? There’s air conditioning~” Arthur said with a chuckle.

“I need a minute alone,” Finn spoke bluntly, walking off a little and over to a nearby tree. Connor spoke to the medic for a moment before walking over to a cot, helping Elliot down onto it.

Arthur frowned, watching Finn walk off before going into the nurses cabin. Elliot winced a little as he was put down and a nurse came and put a pillow under his bad knee. MJ sat down on the cot next to the one Elliot was on, crossing his arms.

Connor explained the situation to the nurse a little, telling her about when Elliot fell and hurt his knee a while ago. Finn exhaled softly as he glanced back for a moment, watching Aurthur walk off. Just be an a--hole, why don’t you? He huffed angrily at himself, turning back towards the tree. He reached up for a thick, lower hanging branch and pulling himself up onto it. He climbed a bit higher on the tree, soon finding a branch and sitting down. He sighed softly, taking deep breaths as he calmed down.

“Okay,” The nurse said, gently pressing on Elliot’s knee and checking his reaction. “I think I’m just going to wrap it with an ice pack for now, and I’ll check if I can administer pain medication. Sound good?” Elliot nodded, trying to think through the pain.

Connor nodded, moving to Elliot’s side and resting a hand on his shoulder. “You’re gonna be okay, I promise,” he said quietly, rubbing his shoulder with his thumb.

“I know,” Elliot muttered, squeezing his eyes shut for a second. The nurse came back after a moment, with bandages, medical tape, an ice pack, and a pill bottle. She took two tablets out, handing them to Elliot. “MJ, could you grab a water?” He asked, doing his best to hold his knee up as the nurse pressed an ice pack on it and wrapped it.

Connor stayed by Elliot’s side, watching him anxiously.

Finn climbed down from the tree when he felt more calm, walking into the medic cabin to check on the group. “How’s your knee, Elliot?” He asked quietly, crossing his arms over his chest as he walked over to his cot. -
“A little better,” Elliot said with a small smile, his knee still propped up on a pillow. “It’s not unbearable anymore-“ “What he’s saying is if it hurt this much he wouldn’t have told anybody-“ MJ commented teasingly. “Shut up!”

Finn chuckled softly, moving over to Aurthur’s side. “I feel that,” he said softly, nodding. “I am glad you’re not like, hiding it, though.” “Yeah, that definitely would’ve just made things worse for you,” Connor spoke, patting Elliot’s shoulder for a moment.

“Dude, you guys have no idea how many times I’ve just dealt with it-“ Elliot said with a chuckle. “And why would you do that?” MJ groaned, glaring playfully at his friend. “It really wasn’t a big deal. And now I can’t swim or hike or anything-“ Elliot whined, leaning again the wall behind him.

“And that’s fine, we don’t have to do all that stuff,” Connor said, chuckling softly. “Plus I’m kinda sore anyways, so I was not looking forward to a hike.” “Pfft- sore from getting railed by your boyfriend, you mean,” Finn teased, smirking playfully at Connor, who turned bright red. “I have no idea what you’re talking about,” he said with an awkward chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck.
