“Ew- Yeah, that’s f---in’ weird,” Joey said chuckling softly. Kathy laughed, curling closer to Ed.
-
“Well, I am f---ing weird~” Ed said jokingly, holding Kathly close.
-
“That’s true,” Joey said, chuckling softly.
(little braindead lmao) -
(maybe clay could start feeling sick and they have to go home?)
-
(ooh yeah-)
Clay squeezed his eyes shut for a moment, feeling his head start to hurt again. He took a hit of his inhaler, praying it would help it somewhat. “I don’t think I asked, but what was America like?” Joey asked, looking over at George. -
“Uh, it was hot as f---, like, the whole time,” George said with a chuckle. “And the people are addicted to drama- both Clay and his best friend got involved in crazy drama while I was there.”
-
“What kind of drama?” Kathy asked quickly, leaning forward in her seat. “Spill, I wanna know~” “Jesus, Kathy, chill out-“ Joey said, chuckling softly.
-
“Some psycho girls- I dunno if Clay’d want me to say-“ George said, glancing at his boyfriend. “Are you okay?” He whispered immediately, frowning.
-
Clay glanced over, taking another hit of his inhaler. “Yeah, I’m fine,” Clay whispered in response, nodding. “But uh, I’d rather not share, just yet? It’s uhm, kinda personal-“ “Ooh, is it that bad?” Kathy asked, raising an eyebrow.
-
“Yeah, so, just drop it,” George said, running a hand through Clay’s hair. “But uh, school was also easier to ditch- not that there would’ve been much to stop me, anyways.” “And did you stay with Clay?” Mike asked, leaning back. “Yeah, his family was my host family.” George said, nodding .
-
“Sorry, my bad-“ Kathy spoke, an embarrassed look on her face as she curled closer to Ed’s side. “Yeah, he stayed at my place,” Clay replied with a nod, holding back a wince of pain from the nodding. He took another hit of his inhaler, exhaling a little shakily.
-
Ed pressed a small kiss on the top of ber head, rubbing her side. “No, you’re good, Kathy,” George said, waving his hand dismissively as he glanced over to Clay. “We can go home, if you want.” He whispered.
-
“No, I’m- I’m okay,” Clay replied, gripping his inhaler in his hand for a moment. He stared at the ground, trying to ignore the waves of pain hitting him.
-
George narrowed his eyes, watching Clay for a minute. “Are you lying to me?”
-
Clay avoided George’s eyes, not wanting to ruin the little hangout. “Uh, does- does anyone know where the bathroom is?” “Just upstairs and down the hall to the right,” Joey said, pointing back up the stairs. Clay nodded and let go of George, standing and walking off.
