Clay smiled and hugged George close, kissing the top of his head. “I love you so much-“

“I love you too,” George whispered, squeezing Clay tight before letting go, tears running down his cheeks. “I’ll let you know if anything happens,” he stated, avoiding his boyfriends gaze as he walked back to his luggage.

Clay nodded, wiping his tears away as he watched George walk over to grab his stuff. “Call me when you land, okay?”

“Okay,” George whispered, pressing his lips together. He took his last look at Clay, more tears streaming down his cheeks. He grabbed his suitcases, starting to wheel them towards where he needed to go.

“Bye, George,” Clay spoke softly as he felt himself crying again, waving as his boyfriend walked off.

“Bye, Clay,” George said, glancing back at Clay for a second with a sad, sad smile. He waved a bit before looking back in front of him, turning and disappearing around a corner.

Clay exhaled shakily as he got back into his car, shutting the trunk door and buckling up. He slumped down in his seat, covering his face with his hands as he sobbed quietly. God, I miss him so much already…

Clay hummed nervously as his Uber pulled up to George’s house, smiling as he got out of the car. He grabbed his luggage and made his way up to the front door, knocking gently. I wonder if he’s here or not- God, I hope he is~ -
George’s mom answered the door, smiling a little. “Oh, Clay, right? George should be walking home from school at the moment, come in, come in-“

“Yeah, hi,” Clay said with a warm smile, greeting his mom. “Thank you so much for letting me stay for a while, I- I really wanted to surprise George-“

“Oh of course- I’m so glad you’re here because all George talks about nowadays is how much he misses you,” She said softly, here english accent prominent.

“I’m not surprised,” Clay said, chuckling softly. “I guess I’m waiting for him, then?”
