George froze, looking at Clay with wide eyes. “Uh- I dunno, I’m just not hungry-“ he said, trying to be convincing.

“George,” Clay spoke softly, a worried look on his face. “Please don’t lie to me- I get it if you don’t want to talk about it, but don’t lie to me and tell me nothing’s wrong.”

“I just, I dunno,” George whispered, bringing a hand up near his face and picking at his nails. “I don’t wanna look bad. And if I can control that by skipping. few meals, then-“

Clay nodded a little, gently grabbing George's hands in his own. “I think I get it,” he spoke softly, rubbing his thumb over the back of his hands.

“Yeah,” George said softly, looking down at the bed awkwardly.

“I’m glad you told me, though,” Clay spoke softly, pressing a kiss on George’s cheek. “And, if it’s any consolation, I think you’re extremely handsome~” He said with a chuckle, admiring his boyfriend with a smile.

George smiled awkwardly, exhaling quietly. “Thanks. It kinda helps.”

Clay smiled, nodding. “That’s good to hear,” he spoke softly, letting go of George’s hands and hugging him close. “I definitely don’t fully understand what you’re going through, but I’ll always be here for you, okay?”

George nodded, staying quiet as he hugged Clay back. He exhaled quietly, nuzzling his boyfriends neck.

Clay held George close, rubbing his back. “If you ever have anything else going on, please talk to me, okay? Unless- unless you don’t wanna talk about it, then that’s fine-“

“Mhm,” George mumbled, pressing a lazy kiss onto Clay’s neck.

Clay hummed softly, hugging George close. “I love you so much, baby,” he murmured softly with a small smile, running a hand through his dark hair.

George hummed quietly in response, curling closer to Clay and shutting his eyes.

Clay rubbed George’s back and held him close, kissing the top of his head with a small smile as he closed his eyes.

George pulled Clay back down, curling close to him and tangling their legs.
