Connor stirred awake, feeling Evan move in his arms. He groaned softly when he turned his head, light from the window beaming in and onto his face. "f---, that's bright," he muttered, moving one hand to cover his eyes. He looked over, sensing Evan was awake. "Morning, babe~" He spoke groggily, leaning over and pressing a kiss on his cheek. -

Evan gave a small smile, forcing himself to pull himself together. “Morning. Did you sleep well?” -
imsoclueless Senior"Yeah, pretty well," Connor replied, sitting up a little. He watched Evan for a moment, sensing something was off. He wanted to ask, but wasn't sure if he should. "How'd you sleep?"

“Mm, good,” Evan said quietly, sitting up next to him. “I dunno what time I have to leave.”

imsoclueless SeniorConnor nodded, wrapping his arm around Evan's waist. "You feeling alright?" He asked softly, watching the brunette for a moment. "You seem a little quieter than usual, hun."

“No I’m not,” Evan said quickly, pissed off that Conner noticed something. “I’m not very talkative in the morning,” he mumbled, running a hand through his hair.

imsoclueless SeniorConnor flinched slightly at Evan's tone of voice, pulling his arm back. "Sorry, just- wanted to make sure y-you were okay," he replied, his voice shaking ever so slightly

He exhaled and pulled the blankets off him, standing. "I'm gonna use the bathroom really quick," he spoke, an anxious smile on his face. -
s---, I literally can’t do anything right- Evan thought, frowning as he saw Connor’s reaction. He lost him composure slightly, looking over to his boyfriend as he got up. “Okay. I’m sorry-“

imsoclueless Senior"It's okay, don't- don't worry about me," Connor replied with a small smile, looking back at Evan for a moment before walking out of the room. He exhaled and walked into the bathroom, trying to stop his hands from shaking. He's not mad at you. This isn't gonna be like Diego all over again- So calm the f--- down. He let out a short, shaky breath, leaning against the door of the bathroom.

“Why wouldn’t I-“ He cut himself off once he left the room, his voice trailing off. He hugged his legs to his chest - probably the only thing his casted arm was good for - and aggressively wiped his eyes with his good hand, willing himself to pull it together.

imsoclueless SeniorConnor came out of the bathroom after a bit, walking back into his room. He hummed as he walked over to his closet, pulling out a shirt. "When do you have to get going, hun?" He asked, glancing over at Evan on the bed.

“I don’t know,” Evan said with a small shrug. “I’m sorry for snapping at you. It was insensitive,” he said, picking his head up and looking at Connor.

imsoclueless Senior"Don't worry, it's fine," Connor replied with a soft chuckle, walking over to Evan. "I have my moments, too. You're not the only one~" He chuckled and pressed a kiss on Evan's lips, smiling.

Evan kissed him back for a moment, forcing a small smile. His thoughts still whipped back at him, despite Connor’s reassurance.
