Evan blushed, quickly moving to take another bite of his food to hide how flustered he was. “Yeah, she’s not that- that bad, I promise, she just- y’know, likes being polite, I- I guess,” he said, stumbling over his words skightly. -

Connor smirked and rubbed Evan's thigh with his thumb. Chloe noticed and furrowed her brows, watching Evan for a moment before going back to her food. "So, Evan, how's school going for you?" Hannah asked, smiling at the brunette. -

“Uh, it’s good, yeah,” Evan nodded quickly. “I- Well, so far, at least. I took probably one too many hard classes this- this year. But, I’ll survive, I- well, I think so,” he said, still stumbling over his words. -
imsoclueless Senior"Yeah, I'm sure you will," Connor said with a quiet chuckle, gently patting Evan's leg before pulling his hand back. "That's good to hear, though," Hannah said with a smile, picking up her cup and taking a sip.

Evan glared a little at Conner before looking to his mom, smiling politely. “Yeah, it is. I’ve also been helping out with some student council stuff - they don’t usually let lowerclass-men onto it, but they’re doing some sort of like, something similar to internship? For me and another sophomore.”

imsoclueless Senior"Aw, that's fun," Hannah replied, smiling and nodding. "Ah, reminds me of when I was in high school. I was apart of the student council for a while, before I decided they were all too stuck up for my liking~" Chloe and Connor chuckled, watching their mom for a moment. "Hold on, you never told us this," Connor said, chuckling. Hannah shrugged, smirking. "A girl's gotta have her secrets, am I right?" "Amen, sister," Chloe said with a laugh, throwing a hand up in the air.

Evan chuckled quietly, again somewhat admiring the easy conversations the three were having. “What years were you on council?”

imsoclueless Senior"f---, I don't even remember," Hannah replied with a laugh, running a hand through her hair. "Also, just thinking about it makes me feel old-" "Maybe 'cause you are," Connor joked, smirking playfully at his mother. She chuckled and returned the glare, crossing her arms. "Har, har, laugh it up." Chloe giggled, looking over at Evan. "Are you planning on joining the student council, Evan?"

Evan giggled quietly before looking over at Chloe and shrugging .”Yeah. Not as president, but probably like treasurer or something.”

imsoclueless Senior"Makes sense. I could see that for you," Chloe said with a chuckle, nodding. She took the last bite of her food and stood, picking up her plate. "Well, I'm gonna head upstairs. See ya," she said, taking the plate and going into the kitchen to put it in the sink.

“See ya,” Evan said, waving a little. “I actually might have to get going, too.” He glanced around the room for a clock, not wanting to put out his phone.

imsoclueless Senior"Noooo, don't leave meee~" Connor jokingly whined, chuckling as he playfully flung himself onto Evan and hugged onto him. "That's kinda gay," Chloe joked in a song-like tone from in the kitchen, walking off. "f--- off~" Connor replied in the same singing-like tone, chuckling.

“Well, we are kinda gay, so,” Evan said with a chuckle, moving his uninjured hand to pat Connor on the head.

imsoclueless Senior"And so are you, so again- f--- off~" Connor added, chuckling. He let go of Evan and picked up his plate, putting it in the sink before coming back to the dining room. Hannah sighed and shook her head with a smile, finishing off the last of her food. "I'm so sorry you now have to deal with this mess," she joked to Evan as she pointed at her son, giggling. "Uh- I'm right here," Connor said, a jokingly offended look on his face.

Evan giggling as he stood, grabbing his plate and following Connor into the kitchen. “I know, it’ll be hard, but I think I’ll survive,” He said with a laugh, placing his dish in the sink.
