imsoclueless SeniorConnor watched Evan walk out, go over to the sink and wash his hands. "Are you sure you're okay? I- I know we don't know each other well, but- If you need someone to talk to, I'm always here," he spoke gently, moving a little closer to the brunette.

“Um, yeah, Im good,” Evan said, chuckling nervous as he washed his hands and moved to dry them. “Were you looking for me? What’s going on?”

Tears resurfaced at Evan eyes and he glared at Conner for a moment as he headed for the door. “God- yes, I’m fine! How many f---ing times to I have to tell you!”

imsoclueless SeniorConnor flinched slightly but pushed forward, gently grabbing Evan by the wrist. "Ev, please- I know something's up, this little act isn't fooling anyone. Please, I- I want to help you, dude."

Evan looked down at Connor’s hand, tearing his hand away. “Don’t f---ing touch me, b----,” He said weakly, taking a shaky breath as he took another step away.

imsoclueless SeniorConnor let go, pulling his hand back. "Sorry," he mumbled, looking down at his shoes. "I- I just want to help, I- I'm sorry for bothering you." He started to walk out, walking past Evan. "Ms. Jensen wants to see you in her office," he muttered, walking out of the bathroom. I just always f--- things up, don't I? Can't even be helpful when I've been in the exact same situation...

“Okay,” Evan said, waiting for Conner to walk away before quickly moving the opposite way, heading to his car.
Jensen saw Conner coming up the hall and approached him, smiling gently. “Any luck finding him?” -

"I found him, told him to come to you," Connor replied in a quiet voice, crossing his arms over his chest. "I-I know something's going on, and I want him to open up to me, but-" "But you know that's going to take some time, right?" Jensen spoke, resting a hand on Connor's shoulder. He sighed, rubbing a hand through his hair. "I know, but if- If he doesn't, he'll-" "He'll end up like you?" She answered, pulling her hand back. "Connor, you went down this same path. You know how long it took you to even begin opening up to someone? You're on the road to recovering, but it's just started. What Evan needs to do, is find the road himself, okay? You can be there for him, but don't rush anything, alright?" Connor exhaled and nodded, looking down at his shoes. "Right, I'll- I'll give him some space," he mumbled, picking at the skin around his fingernails.

Evan struggled to breathe as he got in his car and started to drive home. He felt a little bad for snapping at Conner like that, but there was nothing he could do about it now. He was also freaking out over the fact that he just skipped class, detention, and ran from Jensen.
