“I think I’m gonna go home,” Evan said quickly. “My Mom said she needed me… at a certain time.” -
"Oh- Yeah, no, that's- That's cool," Connor replied, nodding. He pulled the blanket off his lap, standing and stretching, his shirt slightly lifting and uncovering his stomach. He hummed softly as he lowered his arms, watching Evan for a moment. "Well uh, it was- it was nice hanging out," he said with a small smile. "We should hang out again soon~"

Evan glanced over just as Conner was stretching, his ears turning red and he quickly stood up. “Uh, yeah, maybe. See ya,” He said awkwardly, pressing his lips together and heading towards the door.

Connor nodded, a bit of a frown on his face. f---, I did something wrong, didn't I? "Yeah, see you- At school, I guess?" He said, watching Evan walk off. He let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding, sighing. "f---, why is he so f---ing cute?" He muttered after the door shut, walking back over to the couch and flopping down on it. "That's kinda gay-" Chloe said, walking down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Says the actual lesbian," Connor spoke, sitting up and rolling his eyes. She giggled, shrugging. "It's funnier when you're a gay mess, not gonna lie~" -

Evan was walking through the hallway, plastering on smiles for people that he saw as he went. He didn’t sleep well last night, because, well, he wasn’t doing well. Since he… failed when he fell out of tree, it just became more incentive to try again. Those were the main thoughts in his head, and he was quite close to a breakdown. But he wouldn’t show that, especially at school. -

i was thinking they bump into each other and evan acts super fake and nice to him like more than usual and conner either sees through it or is rlly happy evan’s finally not upset or smth?) -

Connor walked down the hall, watching as students gave him side-eyes or short glares. He ignored them the best he could, trying to keep a level head. He turned around the corner and walked into someone, groaning. "Jesus, I have got to pay better attention- Oh, Evan! H-Hey~" He said with a small smile. "I'm- I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going-" -

“Oh, no, you’re good, don’t worry,” Evan plastered on the same smile and believable tone he had been using all morning. “That’s my bad, I think,” He said with a chuckle, clapping Conner on the shoulder. He was so focused on acting normal that he didn’t really remember why he was really mad at Conner. -

Connor furrowed his brows for a moment, watching Evan silently. "Well uhm, how- how's your morning been?" He asked, picking at the skin around his fingernails. -
“Oh, good, good, my mornings been great, yeah,” Evan nodded, chuckling slightly. “How about you?”

Evan let out a breath, waving his head to show it didn’t really matter. “Well, you know how they are- annoying as hell, y’know?” He laughed forcibly, quickly realizing he was starting to sound weird. “Well, I’ll see ya, gotta get to class-“
