(it's a good show, i'd recommend u^u)
Connor stirred awake to the sound of a knock on the door, blinking away the tiredness. He groaned softly, his head pounding and his stomach feeling sick. He looked over to see his mom walk in, waving silently. "Morning, hun," she spoke softly, not wanting to wake Evan. Connor nodded in response, sitting up a little. "You feeling alright?" Connor hesitated for a moment before shaking his head, a hint of pain washing over his face. Hannah nodded, gesturing for Connor to sit up. He gently moved Evan off him, careful not to let him fall off the bed. He moved to sit on the edge and his mother started administering more medicine, hooking him up to an IV. -
(okay okay u^u)
Evan stirred awake after a moment, humming quietly. He sat up, moving his legs to curl into himself. He smiled politely at Hannah, still trying to wake himself up. -
Hannah smiled back at Evan, returning her attention to Connor. "Alright, that'll do it," she spoke, packing away the medicine. "That should calm the nausea and the migraines. And I'm gonna keep this in for a bit longer, since you need more fluids. Then later, you should be free to go," she added, grabbing her son's hand and gently squeezing. "You two sleep well?" Connor nodded, humming softly in response. "Yeah- Still tired, though." Hannah chuckled softly, nodding. "Yeah, not surprised. All the adrenaline is finally wearing off, so I'm sure you're exhausted."
-
Evan nodded, rubbing his eyes. “Yeah, and this bed isn’t very comfortable,” he said softly, chuckling. He placed a hand on Connor’s back, rubbing it gently.
-
"Mm, true," Connor replied with a chuckle, nodding. He hummed, leaning back into Evan's touch. "Also, when can I put some real clothes on?" He laughed, looking down at the hospital gown. "You'll get to change soon, relax," Hannah said with a chuckle, saying goodbye before leaving the room. "I'll let you know when I get you checked out~"
-
Evan said goodbye to Hannah, waving a little with his free hand. He leaned forward, resting his head on Connor’s shoulder. “How’re you doing?”
-
"I'm fine, other than feeling like s---," Connor replied with a chuckle, glancing over at Evan. "My head's killing me and I feel like I'm gonna hurl, but other than that I'm great," he joked, resting his hands in his lap.
-
“Ugh, I’m sorry,” Evan said with a frown, pressing a kiss on Connor’s cheek. “That f---ing sucks.”
-
"It's fine. It's my own fault, anyways," Connor murmured, exhaling. He leaned against Evan, closing his eyes.
-
Evan hummed quietly, rubbing Connor’s back.“You wanna go back to sleep?”
-
"Mm, not really- I just wanna lay down," Connor muttered, sighing quietly.
-
“We can do that,” Evan said with a quiet chuckle, moving back to lay down again.
-
Connor hummed and laid back, keeping his arm that had the IV in it extended. He looked up at the ceiling, zoning out.
-
Evan laid down next to him, also staring at the ceiling. They were in silence for a few moments, before Evan’s intrusive thoughts took over. “Y’know… when we met- well, kinda, but when I fell out of the tree?”
-
"Mhm?" Connor hummed in response, looking over at Evan.
