"Mhm?" Karl shakily hummed in response, looking up to meet Nick's eyes.

“What’s wrong?” Sympathy seeping into his voice and his expression. Nick gently reached a hand over to grab Karl’s.

"Nothing I- I just, can't eat..." Karl murmured, resting his hand on Nick's. "I-I'm trying so, so hard- I mean, I-I did it last night at prom, but now- f---..."

Nick frowned. “What- what’s stopping you from eating, may I ask? Do you feel sick, or- or what?” He asked gently, trying not to be insensitive.

"I-I don't know, I just-" Karl exhaled shakily, pushing the bowl away with his free hand. "I-I keep having those thoughts, that- that I shouldn't eat. I don't need th-the extra calories, I-" He squeezed his eyes shut, gently squeezing Nick's hand.

Nick nodded slowly. “O- okay.” He quickly moved closer to Karl, wrapping an arm around him. “Is there anything I can do to help? Do you want me to feed you some?” He said with quiet chuckles, trying to lighten the mood a little.

"No, I just- I think I just need a minute," Karl mumbled, leaning into Nick's side. He took another deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment.

“Okay, take as long as you need,” Nick said quietly, pressing a kiss onto Karl’s head and holding him close.

Karl nodded slightly, hugging his arms to his chest. He hummed softly, opening his eyes. "What time is it?" He asked after a moment, sitting up a bit.

“Um, like, 10:40,” Nick said softly, pressing a kiss onto Karl’s head.

"Mmm, my dad's probably gonna be by soon to pick me up soon," Karl spoke, a hint of a whine appearing in his phone.

Nick frowned. “Aw, okay. Do you want to grab any stuff you brought?”

"Yeah- I'll grab it in a bit," Karl said, looking over at Nick. He stood up and smirked, moving to sit on his lap. "But first, I need some kisses~"

Nick giggled, pressing his lips onto Karl’s.

Karl smiled and wrapped his arms around Nick's neck, deepening the kiss. He moaned softly, pressing their bodies together.
