Havyn chuckled, standing up. "I'll help find her with you."
-
imsoclueless SeniorElliot smiled when he turned around, heading towards the stairs that led to the bedrooms. He glanced into the kitchen before heading upstairs, making his way to his room. He opened the door and saw Eloise sat on his bed, staring at the decorations of musical playbills lining the wall above his desk. "I see you've added a new one," they replied, looking over at Elliot when he walked in. "My Fair Lady? Never would have thought~" Elliot rolled his eyes, walking over to his desk. "I went with my mom, she really wanted to see it so I figured why not."
-
Havyn looked around the room, smiling at all the musical posters. "Cool room."
-
imsoclueless Senior"Thanks," Elliot replied, a small smile on his face. "Yeah, nothing like how you'd expect," Eloise teased, smirking at their friend. "And how should someone expect my room to look like?" Elliot asked, playfully glaring at Eloise, who giggled. "All dark and grunge, very emo-" They yelped when Elliot gently smacked their arm, jumping up and playfully punching his arm. "But look at this, fairy lights, bookshelves, musical posters? So cute, isn't it?" They laughed, teasing Elliot and poking his back. "So indie, so coquette~" "I'm going to kick you out, I swear."
-
Havyn chuckled. "Very cute." She agreed. Just like him...
-
imsoclueless SeniorElliot blushed, looking away for a moment. "See? Even Havyn thinks so~" Eloise teased, giggling as they poked Elliot's sides. "Stop that," he said with a glare, gently shoving their hands away. Eloise giggled and moved away, walking back over to the bed. "Ooh, did you finally replace the strings on your guitar?" They asked, reaching to grab the guitar that sat on its stand by the bed. Elliot nodded, gesturing to it. "Yeah, one of them finally popped on me so I had to re-string it. Hurt like a b----, but at least I finally got around to it." He chuckled, running a hand through his hair.
-
Havyn chuckled. "I didn't know you played guitar."
-
imsoclueless Senior"I dabble, I guess," Elliot replied, chuckling and rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm nowhere near as good at it as my dad, but I've been practicing." "Ooh, you should play for Havyn!" Eloise suggested, crossing their legs on the bed. He tensed and blushed, a slightly panicked look appearing on his face. "Uh, how about no?" "Aww, boo!"
-
"Why not?" Havyn asked. "I won't judge, I promise."
-
imsoclueless Senior"I-" "Yeah, play something for us~" Eloise spoke again, giggling. Elliot exhaled and picked up the guitar, strumming it to make sure it was tuned properly. "Fine. Any song suggestions then?"
-
Havyn shrugged. "I dunno, your favorite song or something."
-
imsoclueless SeniorElliot nodded and draped the guitar strap over his shoulder, sitting down at his desk. He hummed softly for a moment as he started playing, gently plucking the strings. Eloise smiled, leaning back on the bed. "This is the one I asked you to learn, right?" "Yeah, 'Haven' by Novo Amor," Elliot replied with a nod, keeping his eyes on his fingers and the strings. "From that one video game, what's it called again?" "Life Is Strange. God, do I love that game~"
-
Havyn smiled. "It's a decent game." She agreed. She played it with her little brother.
-
imsoclueless Senior"Decent? Wow, you clearly don't know a good game when you see one," Eloise teased, chuckling. Elliot chuckled softly and closed his eyes, losing himself in the music. He softly sang to the song, swaying slowly. He picked at the strings, playing note after note and chord after chord.
-
"I don't play it often, that's all!" Havyn stopped once Elliot played. He was good. Really good.
