Nick flushed red. “You make me sweet.” The cat leaned into Karl’s touch, meowing quietly.
Josie came with the two plates of pasta, placing them down in front of the two. “Are you guys good? Anything I can grab for you before I head out?”
“I think we’re good, thank you so much,” He said with a smile. -
imsoclueless SeniorKarl nodded in agreement, going to dig into his food. "Well, please don't feel obligated to spend money on me to make me happy," he added, looking up at Nick with a gentle smile. "All I need to be happy is my puppers, my family, and you~ Aaand maybe some Netflix," he joked, giggling.

Nick nodded, looking back at Karl as Josie walked away. “I know. I want to.” He giggled, grabbing his fork and grabbing some pasta.

imsoclueless SeniorKarl giggled and nodded, poking his fork into the noodles. He twirled them around and lifted the fork, taking a bite of the pasta. "Mmm, this is some good spaghetti~" He said with a smile, crossing his ankles.

Nick also took a bite of his pasta, nodding in agreement. “It’s really good, yeah.” He swallowed, glancing down at the cat on his lap, which had fallen asleep somehow. “What’s your favorite food?”
(so, i had an idea for nick being toxic?
like maybe he could just disappear for a week or two, and say nothing, doesn’t text, doesn’t come to work, no explanation etc
and then he just shows up one day acting like everything is normal? maybe even acts like he and karl aren’t even dating anymore?) -

“Really? Now I really wanna test that,” Nick said with a giggle. “Next date, we’re going out to a mexican place, and you’re getting the spiciest thing on the menu. Besides me, of course.”

Nick parked the car in his driveway, grabbing his phone and quickly hopping out. He ran around the car, grabbing Karl’s door and opening it for it. “Welcome, welcome.” He said with a giggle.
