Nick smirked at Karl as he finally pulled away, catching his breath and leaning against the wall. “You really wanted that, huh? How long have you been waiting to kiss me again? Since you tried to get us caught in the ball this morning?” He said in a hushed voice. -

"Kinda~" Karl giggled, standing up. He moved to lean against the wall beside Nick, grabbing his hand and twining his fingers in the ravenette's. "I guess I just- Missed you, especially after spring break, and not being able to hang out much during it." -
Nick shrugged, nodding. “That’s fair. Well, did that make up for all the absences?”

I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't mind keeping it secret and meeting in secret like this," he said, gesturing to the room, "but- I want to be able to hold your hand while walking to class, or kiss you before your big games."

“Karl,” Nick sighed, look away and frowning. “I want that more than anything. You know that. But… you also know that I would probably get a rediculous amount of hate for it. I’m not out! I hear my coach talking badly about gay people all the time. I love you, I do,” He looked at Karl again. “But I just… don’t think I’m ready to announce anything.”

imsoclueless SeniorKarl frowned for a moment, letting out a sigh. "I know you do," he said, letting a small grin flicker across his face before the frown returned. "That's so stupid, though." He paused, eyes widening. "Not you not wanting to come out yet! I meant about your coach being homophobic- And honestly, a lot of the school being homophobic. I've not even fully come out to people, either. Only close friends and teachers I've grown to trust." He looked back at Nick, smiling. "And my boyfriend~"

“I know, this school f---ing sucks,” Nick said, giggling a little bit at Karl’s comment. “But I promise, the second we graduate, I will shout that I love you from the rooftops.”
