Sharon walked in the door with a bag slung over her shoulder. “Hello?”
“Hello!” Nick said, standing from his seat and walking around the front desk. They hugged for a quick moment before looking at Karl. “Where should she go?” -
"Back here is the clinic where Kayden does all her work," Karl said, gesturing to the door near the desk.

“Okay, thank you,” Sharon said with a smile. “I’m Sharon, by the way. You are?”

"I'm Karl, very nice to meet you," the brunette replied with a warm smile, extending a hand to shake Sharon's.

“Nice to meet you, too, Karl,” She replied with a smile, shaking his hand. “Is anyone else allowed back here enough to show me around and where everything is? I assume it’s fairly simple, but just in case.”

"Yeah, Elodie can give you a run down since she's actually worked back there with our regular vet," he replied with a nod. Elodie poked her head out of the room and waved, smiling.

“Oh! Perfect, okay, thank you,” She said with a laugh, following Eloise into the room. Nick blew out a breath, sitting back down next to Karl.

Karl turned to look at Nick and smiled, wrapping his arms around his waist. "You okay?" He asked before pressing a kiss on his boyfriend's jaw.

“Yeah,” Nick smiled, nodding. “I just, haven’t seen that lady since I was like… twelve. Brings back weird memories.”

Karl nodded, holding Nick close. "I get that," he spoke quietly, resting his head on the ravenette's shoulder.

Nick smiled, resting his head on top of Karl’s and wrapping an arm around.

"So, who's house we going to?" Karl asked, walking out of the shelter hand in hand with Nick. "Yours or mine?" -
“Uh, I have to give Bee her medicine, so, mine,” Nick said with a chuckle, squeezing Karl’s hand.
