Ernie rolled his eyes, ruffling her hair back.

'So, now that your memory's back,' Selene said, 'We should probably confront your mother.' -
Ernest gave a small nod, looking at Mahina.

'What if she does it again?'

"I'll make sure she's doing it to me this time." Ernie said quietly.
"At least we'd know what spells work, too." Selene added. -
Mahina nodded, looking down. 'Alright.'

Ernest wrapped an arm around her. "I won't let it happen to you again, alright?"

"I'm not fragile!"

'You literally passed out at my doorstep.'

"Shush, not important." Ernest laughed. "I'm stronger!"
