Ernie raised an eyebrow, speeding up again so he could walk next to her.

Ernest blushed, smiling softly.

Mahina looked down.

Ernie couldn't help but feel worried about her.

Mahina leaned her head on his shoulder.

Ernest looked at her, a concerned look on her face.

Mahina looked up at him.

"Ready to tell me now?"

Mahina sighed. ‘I guess.’

Ernie gave a small nod. "Alright."

Mahina smiled weakly. ‘It’s my parents,’ she mumbled.

Ernest's eyes widened. "Your parents?" He could tell from the tone of her voice that wasn't a good thing.
