Selene looked back and saw how bored Mahina looked. She frowned slightly.

Mahina didn’t notice. ‘Stupid redhead boy,’ she mumbled, standing up and starting to sweep.

Selene raised an eyebrow. Redhead boy?

Mahina glanced at her. ‘What?’

"Nothing." Selene said after a moment of debating whether to question her.

Mahina blinked. ‘Ok,’ she said.

Selene turned back to dusting, still thinking about what Mahina just said.

Mahina glanced out the window. Not even close to sundown.

It was barely even the afternoon.

Mahina huffed and continued sweeping.

Selene looked at her. "You alright, Nina?"

Mahina nodded. ‘Yeah, I’m fine,’ she said quietly.

Selene pursed her lips, not quite believing her. "You sure?"

‘Yeah, all good over here,’ Mahina said with a smile.

"Good." Selene smiled back before finishing her dusting.
