Earlier in the morning Buckdawn invited Gizzarddash to go hunting with him. They had fun and caught a few rats. They started to head back but Buckdawn shifted towards a tree. Buckdawn sat down, Gizzarddash soon followed. "Hey Gizzarddash," Buckdawn whispered to Gizzarddash. "Yeah?" "Do you... Like anyone" "not really," Gizzarddash stands up "should we go back to camp?" "Yeah, make sure to get the rats" they head back to camp just in time for the apprentice ceremony. "I forgot about this" Gizzarddash chuckled. They sit down next to the others.

Deerrunner looked up from his washing, nodding at Cinderflower, then at Buckdawn and Gizzarddash when they appeared afterward. "Welcome back. How was your hunt?" He greeted.
Embertail's attention switched over to the two apprentices sitting close to the Highrock, but his ears swiveled towards the conversing cats next to him. Fishpaw sat down beside Spiderpaw and started talking, but the ginger was too far away and couldn’t hear what they were saying. Spiderpaw’s face showed annoyance, but he silently replied back anyway. -
“My hunt was pretty good,thanks.I caught a fat mouse.” Cinderflower replied.”Hey guys,about the prophecy that we’re in…Can you control your powers now?I can’t,smoke just randomly blasts out from me at the most inconvenient times.

"We caught a bunch of rats!" Gizzarddash mewled. "Yeah, could barely hold some" Buckdawn muttered. Buckdawn sat down next to Gizzarddash.

Embertail purred in amusement, turning away from the two apprentices. “Looks like Greenleaf is still bringing in plenty of prey, even with Leaf-fall starting to roll in.” The ginger warrior replied happily. Deerrunner nodded in agreement. Both of their ears suddenly perked up as a voice rang out through the clearing.
“Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!” Dawnstar called out as he jumped up onto the rock, his blonde-ish white pelt glowing softly due to the setting sun. Ambershade, aka Deerrunner's brother and the clan's deputy, sat beside the Highrock, his ears swiveling around.
"Come on," Embertail jumped up from his spot. "Let's get a bit closer. I want to see my brother become a warrior!” -
