Jayden chuckled before noticing the little girl. His smile faltered for a moment before he kneeled down and picked up Chester.

Chester mewled and nestled into his arms, nuzzling against his chest in an attempt to cheer him up.

Jayd chuckled, petting the top of his head, walking into one of the clothes stores. "Alright, can you turn back into a human and pick out some outfits, please?"

Chester mewled stubbornly, resting his head against Jayden’s hand.

"Well how are we supposed to get you outfits then?" Jayden chuckled. A couple of the customers were giving him stares for being their king and also talking to a cat about buying clothes.

Chester mewled, before turning back into a human. ‘Damn you, I like being a cat,’ he huffed, kissing the side of Jayden’s head.

"And I like you being a cat too, but I need you to choose some outfits." Jayden chuckled. He tried not to notice the shocked looks from the customers when they saw Chester shape-shift.

Chester pouted and looked around. ‘Fine,’ he huffed, noticing the shocked looks from the other customers and grinning. ‘Darling, everybody’s staring at us~’

"I know." Jayden murmured. "They're jealous of me for getting such an amazing boyfriend." He gave a small smile.

Chester laughed, rubbing his nose against Jayden’s. ‘Nah, it’s the other way around, love.’

"I highly doubt it." Jayd mumbled, smiling wider. His arms wrapped around his boyfriend.

‘I don’t,’ Chester murmured, running his fingers through Jayden’s hair. He wrapped his spare arm around Jayden’s waist.

Jayden sighed. "Damn." He leaned forward so their noses were almost touching.

Chester smirked, leaning forward too. ‘Do you think we’ll get in trouble if we start kissing in this store?’ he murmured.

Jayd shrugged. "Not if we buy something, I reckon." He smiled.
