Jayd held him. "It's ok." He whispered. "I'm so sorry."

Chester whimpered, curling himself into a ball as Jayden held him.

Jayden looked at his boyfriend. He was going to kill Astrid for making him this much of a wreck. "Whatever he forces you to do, tell me, ok?"

Chester nodded, sobbing into his shirt. 'Wh-What if he breaks it? Or loses it? Or-'

"Then he won't be able to force you to do anything." Jayd murmured. "If he breaks it, I'll find someone to fix it, ok?"

'What if they can't? Father must be so disappointed...'

Jayden looked Chester in the eyes. "Your dad isn't upset. Nobody would've thought Astrid would steal it from you. It's not your fault, therefore, he won't be upset."

Chester whimpered. 'I-I shouldn't have gotten so upset. I should've protected it more. I can't be so weak..'

"You're not weak." Jayd kissed his cheek. "Astrid stole from you. This is his fault, not yours."

Chester closed his eyes, resting his head just below his shoulder. He looked up at his boyfriend.

Jayden looked back at him, holding him gently.

Chester nuzzled closer to him.

"Do you want to go to breakfast soon?"

Chester sighed and nodded, pulling himself closer to him. ‘Ok.’

"We don't have to if you don't want to. I can grab you some food and come back."
