Cleverly looked up at him. ‘Sire… what-what happened?’
Chester sighed. ‘It happened again, Cleverly. Are you alright?’
‘I’m fine, sire.’ -
Jayden's gaze flickered between Chester and Cleverly every once in a while. "Need a hand?" He asked, offering a hand to help Cleverly up.

Cleverly glanced at his hand, before gingerly taking it and letting Jayden help him up.

Jayd pulled him up.
(Dammit, gtg for a bit, dunno when I'll be back, but I'll be back!) -
(Alr, cya!)
Cleverly stood up. He eyes Jayden warily before looking at Chester. ‘Please consider what I said, your majesty,’ he said. ‘It’s for the better of the kingdom.’ With that, he bowed and walked off. Chester sighed. -
"It's for the better of the kingdom." Jayd mocked as Cleverly walked off, glaring. "Who does he think he is?"

Chester sighed. He grabbed Jayden's hand. 'He thinks he's right. I... I don't know anymore...'

Jayden frowned, intertwining their fingers. "What?" He asked quietly looking up at Chester. Obviously Cleverly was wrong, right?...

'I have been slacking off lately...' His eyes widen. 'But that's not your fault, it's just me.'

"But, you've been so productive, what do you mean you've been slacking off?" Jayd didn't think he was being less productive at all.

Chester lead him back into his office and gestured to the large pile of papers. 'That's how much I have to do.'
(afk a bit, I'll be back in the next hour) -
(actually less than an hour)

Jayd's eyes widened. "Oh." He said quietly. He couldn't help but feel like it was his fault after hearing Chester and Cleverly. -
(lmao alr. I'll be on and off)
Chester wrapped his arm around him. 'You alright?' -
(Same lol)
"I will be." Jayden said after a moment of hesitation.
