Theo smirked. Lilla and Jackie started watching the two of them, figuring they were more entertaining than the legos at the moment.

Hazel hid her face in his shirt. ‘Shut up.’

“I didn’t say anything.”

‘You just did, genius.’

“But I didn’t when you told me to shut up.” Theo smirked.

‘Well, your smirk said everything you needed to.’

Theo rolled his eyes. “Suuuure.”

Hazel huffed.

Theo smirked, booping her nose.

Hazel rolled her eyes.

Theo grinned. Her dad stepped out of his room to grab some coffee. Theo immediately pulled away from Hazel.

Hazel was confused for a moment, before she noticed her dad. She looked down.

Her dad narrowed his eyes.
“Sorry.” Theo whispered to Hazel. -
Hazel shrugged, looking up at her dad.

Her dad didn’t say a word as he plugged the coffee machine in. Theo looked up at him before giving what he hoped was an innocent smile and not a “Yup I broke your rules and kissed your daughter, OOPS” look.
