"Yeah. It's also school though, so that's boring."

'I guess,' Hazel chuckled.

"Well what's the most interesting thing that's ever happened here?" Theo asked.

'Not sure. I guess the weirdest thing that's happened at school was when La Nina hit and it flooded everywhere. There were barely any students and in some classes we didn't do any work.'

"Oh man, that's crazy!" Theo said, eyes wide. He'd never been in any sort of extreme storm besides a thunderstorm.

Hazel laughed. 'It was. Whenever the phone rang we'd all go silent because some parents were calling for their kid to be sent home, and none of us wanted to leave.'

"Dang. That sounds absolutely insane!"

Hazel chuckled at the memory. 'It was pretty funny.'

"I bet." Theo chuckled. "Although it had to be a bit nerve wracking."

'How so?'

"Well your houses flooded. That's gotta be crazy!"

'It never floods that much here, at least it hasn't in my lifetime. Only a few streets and suburbs have it bad,' Hazel shrugged. -
"Oh, that's not too bad." Theo said with a shrug.
