Jackie rolled his eyes. "Oh please, what do you think I'm going to do?" He didn't say anything for a bit. "Do you like the clown makeup?"

Hazel chuckled. 'It's.. a lot to take in,' she said. 'Where's Lilla?'

"In her room trying to calm down." Jackie said truthfully.

Hazel frowned. She pulled away from Theo and sat up properly. 'What happened?'

"She... She was so excited after the clown makeup was done that she kinda acted like a maniac, so she's trying to calm herself down." Jackie lied. Theo raised an eyebrow.

Hazel's frowned deepened. 'I don't believe you. What happened?'

Jackie bit his lip, knowing he couldn't make up a better lie. He backed up to the door slowly.

'Jackie,' Hazel snapped. 'I can tell when you're lying. Tell me!'

"Fine. Me and her opened the door to show you my clown makeup and saw you and Theo kissing. She's kind of freaking out." Jackie said in a rush. "There, happy?"

Hazel's eyes widened. 'You what?!' she exclaimed, running to the door.

"We didn't know!" Jackie shouted back, opening the door and running into Lilla's room to hopefully escape Hazel's reaction.

Hazel followed.

Jackie sat next to Lilla. "She knows." He whispered. "Just play it cool and act like it's not totally a big deal or anything."
Theo followed as well, close behind Hazel. -
Hazel sat in front of Lilla. 'Lil, you OK?' she asked softly.

Lilla looked at Hazel and nodded slowly. "Does this mean you and Theo...?" She asked after a bit, unable to form the words.
