Hazel nodded with a smile and dipped it into the water.

Theo grabbed a similar brush and continued his painting.

Hazel continued hers as well.

After a bit he moved on to the candle inside the lamp. "You sure the yellow looks alright?" He checked with Hazel, showing her his paper he tested the colors on before actually painting with them.

Hazel looked over. 'Yeah, looks good!'

"Alright." Theo started filling the inside of the lamppost with it lightly.

Hazel filled in the spaces with a blend of colours.

Theo added a tiny bit of yellowish orange to the middle of the flame.

Hazel continued her painting.

Theo added some finishing touches to the flame before showing it to Hazel.

Hazel looked over. 'That looks awesome!'

"Thanks." Theo smiled. "Yours looks amazing too!"

'Thanks,' Hazel said with a grin.

"You're welcome." Theo set the paper down. "Now we just have to wait until it dries."

Hazel nodded. She added the finishing touches and tried to figure out what she thought was wrong with it. The proportions, maybe?
