Theo nodded. "Sure!" He said happily.

Hazel walked towards the ice-cream shop. She pulled out her wallet. 'What do you want?' she asked.

"Strawberry." He said with a smile. "I'll pay you back when we get home."

'It's fine,' Hazel said. They were second in line.

Theo shrugged.
"Hazel-Nut!" Some random kid from school said to Hazel, and one of his friends was laughing like it was the funniest thing he'd ever heard. -
Hazel just rolled her eyes, trying to ignore them.

Theo glared at them before turning his attention back to Hazel, not saying anything.

Hazel glanced at Theo then at the cashier as they got to the front of the line. 'One strawberry, one mint and one hazel-nut ice cream please,' she said.

"Ew, you got one that's toothpaste flavor?" Theo laughed, referring to the mint ice cream.

'Do they sell toothpaste ice-cream in France?' Hazel asked, rolling her eyes.

"Nobody eats it, but yeah." Theo laughed. The cashier gave them the ice cream.

Hazel chuckled and took the hazel-nut and mint. 'Thanks,' she said, then glanced at the two kids who'd called to her.

Theo looked at Hazel. "Which table?" He asked, looking at the empty tables.

'I don't mind,' Hazel said with a shrug. 'Hold this, would you? I'll just be a second.' She gave her mint ice-cream to Theo.

Theo raised his eyebrows, but held Hazel's ice cream, watching to see what she was going to do.
