Hazel chuckled. 'Fine, I deserve that.'

Theo smiled, looking out at the walkway in front of the two of them.

'So... do you still, y'know... like me?'

Now Theo was the one looking like a tomato. "T-that's one way to change the subject." He stammered.

'Do you?' Hazel asked, cocking her head at him.

Theo was too embarrassed to form the words, so he just gave a small nod.

Hazel nodded slowly. It looked like she was thinking hard.

"Why did you ask?" Theo asked nervously, still as red as a tomato.

'Just... making sure,' Hazel said.

"Alright." Theo mumbled, kicking at a pebble by his foot.

'Yeah,' Hazel said. 'It's be kinda awkward if I did this and you didn't like me.' She walked closer to him and kissed his cheek.

If there was anything redder than a tomato, that's what Theo looked like. His eyes widened, and he couldn't stop a smile from forming.

Hazel smiled. 'Tomato,' she mumbled.

"Shut up." Theo whispered. "That was...." He tried to think of a good enough word to describe it.

'Kind of embarrassing?' Hazel suggested.
