Hazel walked down the sidewalk. ‘What time is it?’

Theo checked. "3:15" He answered.

‘Well, at least school’s over.’

Theo nodded. "Yeah."

Hazel nodded and leaned her head on his shoulder. they got to her house.

Theo opened the door for her.

Hazel smiled and walked inside.

Theo followed, shutting the door behind her.

‘We’re hoooome!’ Hazel called into the house, setting down her backpack.

"Yay!" Lilla yelled, running down the stairs. "Why do you smell like salt?"

‘A kid came over and dumped a bucket of salt on us,’ Hazel answered with a chuckle, ruffling her hair.

Lilla scrunched her nose up in disgust. "Weird kid."

Hazel grinned and shrugged, walking out the stairs.

Theo followed, waving at Lilla before going up the stairs.
