Collins frowned, fiddling with her hands as she stood up. ‘Speaking of my presence, I really should go,’ she said looking down at Florence. ‘I’ll see you tomorrow, yeah?’

Florence waved as it chewed on the chord. It felt exhausted. It mimicked the crackling of electricity.

Collins waved as well, walking out of the hallway and down the many flights of stairs to the exit.

Florence curled up closer to the wall as John walked closer. "Now let's get you re-homed Xavier." Florence mimicked the hissing of a cat at John. "This place is falling apart." John said

Collins hurried down the sidewalk to the apartment.

"I'm not leaving without the creator. I just want to see the creator. If you can't help, leave." Florence said before mimicking the yowl of a big cat and chewing at the wires further.

Collins snuck in through the window of the apartment and sat on her bed, sighing. She pulled out her phone and closed the video of the fish Florence was watching and lay down, staring up at the ceiling.

"you can't just stay here Florence. You know I'm removing you for your own good." John said. Florence defensively puffed his wings.

Collins sighed, thinking back to Florence and John, trying to think up ways to help him. He couldn't figure out Florence.

John stepped closer and took a syringe out of his pocket. If Florence wouldn't help itself he'd have to help it. Florence stayed facing the wall to chew chords.

Collins rolled over, facing the wall. She heard her parents in the kitchen. She grabbed out her phone again and searched up the name of the hospital.

Saint's west had a history of patients who ran away, and many more reports of the patients within their psych ward ending their lives. The most famous article however was about the mysterious death of the owner of the hospital, Nori fields and the conspiracy theories surrounding his death.
John knelt down and administered the amnesia to Florence, but there was a problem. Florence was quite conductive after all. John got zapped and fell back. -
Collins frowned, reading over the article. Why had it never been investigated? She set her phone down and sat at her desk, opening her laptop. She only used it for school, but she opened the browser and did some more research.

Saint west had a few reporters on the site. This hospital was the cheapest one in the country, with patients being admitted for as low as 5 dollars. Most people just assumed the care wasn't great and it was chosen for the low cost.
Florence didn't understand what happened to him. All he understood was a feeling of pain before drowsiness. -
Collins frowned. It didn't add up. Experiments must've been very expensive, so if the researchers weren't charging much for care, where'd they get the equipment and money from? She did some more research. There wasn't much regarding the hospital.
