Personality: Rose has a reputation for being somewhat of a rebel and a bad influence. She was a foster kid and got bumped around several different houses before finally landing a place to stay. Old habits die hard though and she's finding it hard to adjust. She wants to make enough money to move out and live on her own as soon as possible, but for that she'll need a job...
Goals/aspirations: Get her own place and start a tattoo parlor

Boris stared at the desk in disbelief as the bell rang. His eyelids were like 1 thousand pound weights while he was listening to the teacher's lecture and the bell had lifted them. He stood up without being dismissed as he heard the words have a nice summer somewhere in the room. He picked up his bag and was one of the first ones out of the classroom door. He would've been the first one out of the school if he hadn't stopped to wait for his friend Noriana.

Rose tapped her pen impatiently against her desk, letting out a sigh of relief as the teacher dismissed the class. Finally. She stood up, shrugging her backpack over her shoulder and readjusting her face mask. All those sad tearful goodbyes...as if they couldn't call or anything. Having virtually no school friends, she couldn't relate. She was just happy to get out of this cesspool of hormones and teenage drama.

"ah! hold on a sec!" Nori grunts, trying to shove all of her stuff into her bag as fast as possible. "i swear this was all able to fit in here before!" she shouts, earning her some strange looks from the students walking out the door. "did my backpack shrink or something?!"

Boris yawned outside of the classroom. He peaked his head in. "C'mon, I'm gonna fall asleep standing up at this rate." Boris said. He was already excited for his after school nap. It was gonna be the first sleep of the summer and this would be the last time this summer he left his house

"ok ok," she picks up the stuff that didn't fit in her bag and hands it all to boris. "here you can carry this. it's your fault anyway that you rushed me." she huffs. not actually mad, but trying to make it seem like that.

"making a tired old man carry your stuff? How cruel." He said, laughing. He held Nori's stuff with one arm and rubbed the sleep from his eyes before yawning again.

"maybe next summer. When I'm not so tired." Boris said, ducking under a happy summer banner. He was half joking. The year was so exhausting between school, part time work, and his parents. He truly wanted to stay home the whole time. He knew he might have to leave to get groceries but other than that he planned to stay in his room all summer
