"Maybe it wants some time outside." Olivia said.

“Yeah.” Tanner nodded.

"Wanna go inside, or stay?"

“We can stay with the bird.”

"Okay." Olivia knew he would say that. But, not like it was a bad thing.

The bird twittered happily. Tanner chuckled.

Olivia smiled, feeling happy knowing Tanner was entertained by the bird.

Tanner was glad too. He watched the bird intently.

Olivia practically felt like she was dreaming at the time. It was a sunny day out. A random bird approached them and somehow decided that it wanted to be friends. She was with the one she actually liked and she was happy with it all.
Just as those thoughts found their way into her mind, she wondered how her mom and dad were. She wanted to see them. -
Tanner looked over at her, and noticed she had that look in her eyes like she was far away, even though she was sitting next to him. He couldn’t tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
“Liv?” He tested out the nickname. If she hated it, at least it would plop her back into reality. -
Olivia stopped spacing out immediately after she heard it. She blushed and scratched the back of her head.
"Y-yeah? Sorry. I just started daydreaming for a minute," she stated hurriedly. "Also, uhm, I like the name." -
Tanner chuckled. “I could tell. Thanks.”

Olivia chuckled heartily, mostly at herself. She looked back at Tanner. "You're welcome."

Tanner chuckled along, beaming. He was glad she liked the nickname.

Olivia shot a smile right back at Tanner. She raised her right arm and wrapped it lightly around him.
