"Sorry, you can go back to bed." Eli whispered once they realized Ralph was awake.

'It's fine,' Ralph said. 'Are you OK?'

"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry for waking you up."

'All good,' Ralph said, nuzzling his head against Eli's arm.

Eli smiled, turning on their side and closing their eyes.

Ralph smiled and went back to sleep too.

This time Eli didn't have any nightmares and slept in the next morning.

Ralph was still asleep too.

Eli woke up and checked the time before sending a quick text to Callum asking what time he wanted Ralph back.

Callum was in the human world buying groceries since he didn't want to help his parents clean up. I don't mind, he texted.

Alright. Ralph was still sleeping, so Eli just grabbed a book and read for a bit.

Ralph purred slightly in his sleep.

Eli chuckled. Umbreon walked in the room. "No, get out!" Eli whispered.

Umbreon mewed loudly.

"No, you'll wake Ralph up!" Eli said quietly, and Umbreon hissed, sitting on the foot of their bed.
