'Thanks,' Echo said, glancing up at his hand though not hitting it. She wasn't the type to interact this way, mainly because she never had.
-
(again, if I randomly disappear it's because my battery died but I will be back hopefully. Just saying cos my battery is dangerously low ๐ )
-
(dang, rejected๐)
"alrighty then, ehem," he walks to another location, "would you like to set this one up as well?" -
'Alright,' Echo said, taking the supplies and setting up another trap, a few minutes faster this time. 'Is that OK?'
-
(alr, i'll probably disappear for the same reason. i'm supposed to be asleep rn and can't get up to plug my device in without getting caught bc my parents are still awake for some reason)
-
"perfect," he says, a bit surprised, "how did you manage that?"
-
(you don't have an outlet in your room? That must suck! ๐ซ)
-
'No clue,' Echo said, standing back up straight. 'Is that enough?'
-
(i do have an outlet in my room, a lot of them, but i have a loft bed and it makes a lot of noise)
"yup, shall we return to the clearing?" he asks, linking his arm in hers -
(oof)
'Sure,' Echo said, a little surprised at the gesture but doing her best not to show it. -
he starts skipping back to the clearing, and upon arrival lets go of Echo. "i'm gonna go look at that hollow real quick, gimme a second,"
-
'Alright,' Echo said. She kay a blanket down on the grass and sat on it, grabbed her book and began to read.
(Gtg for dinner, I will be back) -

Heath sneaks over to the hollow and peaks in, only half expecting to find something. his eyes widen, the her says "aww, so cute," and picks something up, walking back over to Echo. whatever he was holding, it was just small enough to fit in his closed fist -
'What is it?' Echo said, looking up.
-
Heath smiles, opening his hand very slowly, and a baby rabbit poles its head out, "she may have been abandoned. rabbits normally have five to eight kits in a litter, and the others are nowhere to be seen," he pets the baby rabbit on its head, "you can keep her, or leave her to die. your choice,"
