Echo rolled her eyes. 'I'd be wearing trousers and a blouse if you hadn't told me not to.'

"ugh fine, don't blame me if you end up getting stared at." he huffs, reaching to pay

'I've seen tons of women in white dresses on the street,' Echo said, 'And they don't get stared at. Do we change?'

Echo headed towards the women's bathroom, and changed into her dress. She stared in the mirror, the new dress looked weird in contrast to her dirty face and messy hair. She got as much grime off of her as she could and stepped outside, pulling her coat over her. -
*does the same thing but in the mens bathroom bc that would be awkward if he walked into the womens bathroom. and also he doesn't wear dresses bc that would be even more awkward since he didn't buy a dress...*

Also, I change Echo's dress to this because i keep picturing some kinda nightgown lmao)
Echo leaned against the wall, tapping her foot against the tiles. -

"dang," "you clean up nice," he says in a goofy tone. "ready to go?" -
'Thank you,' Echo said with a small smile. 'Yes, I am.'

Echo rolled her eyes and they left the store, down the road. 'Where's Oakwood Avenue?' she asked, not knowing the town so well.

"right over there," he points down a typical dark creepy alley that you would see in horror movies before someone gets killed
